The Fore Seasons Golf Club Story

Tim and Amber Steele, alongside family friends Jason and Kimberly Peacock, were searching for ways to become more involved in the Acworth area. As active members of the local golf community, they recognized the need for an indoor golf facility. Desiring a warm, socially inviting atmosphere where golfers of all skill levels could play year round, the idea for Fore Seasons Golf Club was born.

Why Acworth?

We chose to open our business in downtown Acworth because we truly love our community. While the area boasts a variety of wonderful restaurants, shops, markets and parks, we noticed there was a lack of space where people could engage in activities together. Our vision is to create a welcoming environment that not only complements the existing charm of downtown but also provides a unique experience for residents and visitors alike. We're excited to contribute to the vibrant atmosphere a place where people can come together, learn and enjoy new experiences.

I have lived in West Cobb for 20 years and have seen our community grow exponentially during that time. This growth has brought along with it better restaurants and higher end boutique shopping. Unfortunately there have not been many options for a fun “out of the box” experience for family and friends. Fore Seasons Golf Club will fill a much needed void for our community. I’m excited to have somewhere different that we can go, be active and have a good time without having to drive to The Battery or Alpharetta.

What is virtual golf & how do I play?

Virtual golf is an indoor simulation of the game of golf. Our 3-sided “bays” utilize technology like projectors and motion sensors to recreate the experience of playing on a real golf course. You use real golf clubs and hit real golf balls, into a screen with realistic images of courses. It allows players to practice, compete, and enjoy the sport regardless of weather or location limitations.

Do I need to bring my own golf clubs?

You are welcome to bring your own golf clubs. If you don’t have any, we have clubs available to rent.

How long does it take and how many people can play at a time?

Our bays are rented by the hour. On average, a single player can play an entire 18 hole course in under an hour. It takes longer if there is a group, and depends on speed in which everyone plays. We allow up to 6 players in our bay.

Are the prices per person?

No! Our rates are for the hour, not by person.

Do I have to wear golf clothes? What about golf shoes?

Nope! Wear whatever clothes you’re comfortable in.

Same goes for shoes (Just no spikes or high heels) – although, we recommend athletic shoes.

Do I have to play a round of golf? What if I've never played before.

You don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy our simulator bays. There are golf games to play, or you can take practice swings on a virtual range.
